Batman and Robin Adventures #8
By: Paul Dini, Ty Templeton, Rick Burchett
If only Harley didn’t want her babies back. It’s really all her fault. See, it starts off with her and the hyenas running from Robin, out of the zoo. Then, Ivy comes to help her and kisses Robin, putting him under a spell to make him her slave. They go on a huge crime spree and Ivy begins to enjoy the company of her Boy-Toy, but the feeling isn’t mutual with Harley. Harley wants the Boy Wonder out so she won’t be forgotten, besides, poor Harl gets stuck with carrying all the loot they’re racking in!
Batman is having an extremely hard time catching them since they have Robin, and he trained the boy since he was very young. Robin’s the planner of all the heists and is solely responsible for taking out the guards, and possibly Batman.
When Harley’s had enough, she decides to give Robin the antidote behind Harley’s back, but Batman is still looking for him and Harley wants him dead, and Ivy wants to keep him… When all is said and done, this ends up being one of Robby’s favorite cases. A real fun read!

Batgirl #2

Too bad I missed the first one! Don’t hurt me if I say something in this one that says diff in the first… When I got there it was too late!
It starts off with a man named John writing a letter to his wife in the light flooding through jail bars. And then a flashback of an attack of a woman by some very big guys. John sees that and goes in, against and with his best judgement, and tries to help by taking the gunman out. But the ringleader tries to shoot him, but never gets a chance when the mysterious Batgirl rescues him. After she’s done, she hands John his bag of stuff and kisses him on the cheek before running off.
The next day, after Barbara Gordon gives her a hard time for not wanting to learn to read and write, they discover John was kidnapped by the same guys that Batgirl had protected him from. Right when Barbara discovers their location, the girl runs off to rescue him again.
At a Steelworks that used to be a prison, Batgirl takes out the guards and gets to John, but is locked inside with him. While she tries to find a way out, he begins to talk about him not making it out alive and that he’ll never see his wife again due to the massive injuries he endured. He begins to black out and regain his senses on and off just to see she’s gently moved him somewhere else and taking out men as she does it. Just as they’re almost out, he tells her not to move him anymore and hands her the letter, begging her to deliver it to his wife. When he goes limp, Batgirl gets mad…
In the end, after delivering the letter, she returns home. An oblivious Barbara finds her asleep at a desk, trying to learn how to write.
